Oil Spill Research & Development

The Interagency Coordinating Committee on Oil Pollution Research (ICCOPR) is updating their R&T Plan for years 2013 through 2018. This report will include the ICCOPR’s recommendations on priority research and development (R&D) needs going forward for oil spill prevention, preparedness, response and restoration. The ICCOPR has contracted CRRC and SEA Consulting to complete this report. The following is a list of sources identifying oil spill R&D needs which has been compiled in order to assess various perspectives on the most important needs.
